Build a New Home

Choose your Plans

The first step after acquiring your property is choosing a house plan to build with. Here are some helpful resources to popular collections of plans. If you just can't find the one you like or find several and just need assistance bringing it together to your own creation then contact our recommended plan designer below.

You are not limited to any of the plans, designers or institutions below. These are simply recommended as a resource if you are unsure.

We work with any set of drawings meeting code standards.

After You Choose a Plan

Once you have narrowed down to a plan that you like we encourage you to contact us so we can give you a ballpark estimate on the expected cost to build. If this estimate is within your budget then we can proceed to the more formal quote and bidding process.

The Formal Bidding Process

After we have reviewed your plans and given you a ballpark estimate and you are interested in moving forward with our services then we will enter into the formal bidding and quoting process. This is where we send your plans out to our suppliers and trades for their input and estimates on virtually every detail. This is where we take your plans and specifications that you want and work together with our partners to customize the quotes that your house will be constructed from. This is also the formal estimate that will go to your bank if you are building with a construction loan.

Construction loans and selecting a bank

If you need a construction loan or mortgage to build your home with then you'll need to select a lender. We have worked with many banks and lending institutions over the years and will work with any lender that you choose.

We have found that these lenders seem to be popular in our region. You are not limited to this list and we make no specific endorsement for any of these institutions nor do we receive any compensation from them:

Ready to Build

Once your quote is back and the details are worked out then everything goes to your bank for your construction loan (if applicable). Once everything is in place from the administrative side (contract, bank loans, approvals, etc.) then you are ready to begin construction. Most homes are completed within 6-12 months from the time started. Of course, timing depends on project size, schedule, product availability and the weather.

After Completion

Most of our clients are turn-key so once your home is completed you are ready to move in. Our goal is to have built a home that is everything you dreamed of and a place that is a refuge from the busy and often times chaotic world we live in. Contact us today to get us building for you.
